How Being Consumed By Vengeance Can Cripple Those Fighting Against Dark Managers

Dark Management

Usually, the dirty tricks deployed by the typical dark managers are hidden in the dark, because they want the others to think that there’s nothing wrong on the surface. But sometimes, they’ll instead do something that are heinously brutal in the most openly visible ways possible, sometimes it’s to foster perpetual cynicism, while sometimes it’s to induce their targets to be consumed by their vengeance.

Most of the times, the typical dark managers don’t want their targets to be in a state of vengeance, but occasionally, inducing their targets to be in this state can actually be advantageous to the typical dark managers. Consider the following scenario:

  1. The typical dark managers have enough power to remain undefeated if their opponents use head-on approaches only, but not enough power to directly stop the underlying ideals from affecting more and more people to be the opponents of those typical dark managers
  2. The typical dark managers must demonize the ideals itself or any of those executing those ideals to have a reasonable chance to stop having anymore such opponents once and for all
  3. As those ideals themselves are extremely well-established, it’d be exceptionally hard to try to demonize them directly
  4. Because most of those executing those ideals are highly devoted, diligent and disciplined, it’d also be really difficult to try to demonize their behaviors directly
  5. Therefore, the typical dark managers must change the behaviors of those opponents to those that can be directly demonized by those typical dark managers, otherwise the initiative will remain on the hands of their opponents

Now, the problem is, what desirable behaviors made by the opponents of the typical dark managers are desirable by those dark managers themselves? One of the most obvious answer is, behaviors mainly driven by vengeance, why?

  1. By definition, vengeance must be in response to some other previously happened behaviors, meaning that if all those opponents do is vengeance other vengeance, the typical dark managers can easily predict at least some upcoming moves of their opponents, thus taking more and more advantages from information asymmetries
  2. Going a step further, once the opponents are consumed by their own vengeance, the typical dark managers can even carefully construct their ridiculously obscene behaviors to lure those opponents to plan for some specific actions for vengeance, so that those actions can help those typical dark managers to further demonize the behaviors of their opponents, and the initiative of the whole war will gradually be taken by those typical dark managers
  3. As their opponents become more and more consumed by their own vengeance, they’ll become less and less devoted, diligent nor disciplined towards their original ideals, thus their actions will become more and more far fetched from their intended goals that are supposed to be accomplished by them, which causes more and more precious resources to be spent on vengeance rather than achieving those ideals
  4. For those previously supporting those ideals but are against being consumed by vengeance, they’ll become more and more far away from those all about having their vengeance served, and it’s even possible that these 2 groups will eventually be mutual enemies, even though things like that will be rare
  5. If everything goes well for the typical dark managers, now trying to demonize the behaviors of their opponents, demonize those opponents themselves, and even demonize the underlying ideals, will become easy, simple and small enough tasks for those typical dark managers to finally be nicely done directly

However, it’ll well-known that being consumed by vengeance is dangerous, so one can’t simply do some insane injustice and expect the victims to be consumed by vengeance, meaning that those typical dark managers must also do a lot more to ensure their victory in this entire war, like the following:

  1. The typical dark managers can implant some spies on their opponents, not just for gathering relevant and important information, but also for influencing their decision makings
  2. Those spies must really contribute a lot to realizing those ideals at the start of the war, only then they’ll become influential enough to be some of the major decision makers
  3. Once they become some of the major decision makers, they must on one hand continue to contribute a lot to realizing those ideals, but on the other hand constantly incite vengeance, especially when those typical dark managers have done something unreasonably perverse and harmed some of their opponents in some very teeth-grinding ways
  4. At this point, it’d be hard for those against being consumed by vengeance to stop those spies from continuing on their incitements, because vengeance is one of the most powerful emotion for most people, and those spies have indeed been contributing a lot to realizing those ideals since the start of the war
  5. Once those opponents of the typical dark managers begin to act on vengeance instead of their original ideals, the typical dark managers can just perform even more brazen mistreats against those opponents, and it’d only be even easier for those spies to further incite for vengeance, thus making the opponents to be driven by vengeance rather than their original ideals

But of course, there are still some other restrictions applying to the typical dark managers when they do really bad things towards their opponents, otherwise those typical dark managers would just be digging their early graves:

  1. Those wrongdoings should only be clearly perceivable by their opponents, but not any other stakeholders, so those typical dark managers should try to forge some evidences favoring themselves on one hand, and falsify those against themselves on the other, meaning that the typical dark managers must be able to keep winning the PR war first
  2. Those wrongdoings must be very, very disproportional to the behaviors of those opponents, otherwise it’d be hard to use vengeance to take away their ability to think clearly, and the whole master plan can only work when the majority of the opponents can’t think clearly anymore
  3. Those wrongdoings must be increasingly crazy as the opponents try harder and harder to realize their ideals, only then it can send them the message that none of those ideals can be realized without the help of vengeance
  4. The behaviors driven by vengeance must be openly visible to every stakeholder, so those typical dark managers can justify their ever increasing violence towards their opponents on one hand, and the other stakeholders will have less and less empathy on those opponents on the other
  5. Throughout the war, the typical dark managers must always appear to be coherent, consistent and reasonable on their behaviors, otherwise the aftermath of winning the war can be so troublesome that those typical dark managers can end up losing even more than what they’ve won

Finally, those typical dark managers must beware of some counters of their twisted plans, like the following:

  1. Sometimes, it’s possible to take vengeance while still realizing the ideals, but usually such action plans do take tons of time to come up with, so the typical dark managers should try to constantly give their opponents a feeling that they must act very quickly at all times
  2. Sometimes, most of the opponents can let go of the impulses of taking vengeance immediately, and instead only take vengeance when the time is right, like after quite some parts of the ideals are realized, so the typical dark managers should try to implant some massive opinions on emphasizing the harm of overthinking and justifying acting on the emotions of the opponents, especially when it comes to vengeance
  3. Sometimes, some of the actions based on vengeance from those opponents can seriously harm those typical dark managers, to the point that those opponents can actually be closer and closer to win the war if this continues, so those typical dark managers should have tons of contingency plans for different kinds of vengeance from their opponents
  4. Sometimes, the opponents can incorporate vengeance as some new parts of the revised underlying ideals, and if more and more people think that vengeance is justifiable in this very special case, the typical dark managers can be in deep trouble, therefore those spies implanted into their opponents should try to lead as many of the actions based on vengeance into disasters for both sides as possible(otherwise it’d be too blatant and they’d at least lose the power to affect many important decision makings), without revealing their identities of course
  5. Sometimes, vengeance can lead to suicidal behaviors(thus gaining tons of empathy and even supports from the other stakeholders) rather than directly attacking those typical dark managers, and this kind of vengeance will be a lot harder to demonize on their side, so they should instead be demonized by those spies, by claiming that these suicidal behaviors are just damaging the precious lives among the opponents, rather than achieving anything meaningful
